Experimental Hybridization in Swallowtails
The results of experimental hybridization are congruent with data known for other subspecies of these swallowtails (Ae, 1962, 1979; Clarke, Sheppard, 1962). Appearance of the hybrids and their parents is given in Fig. 1.

Hybridization of these species is under Haldane's rule as all the hybrid specimens (F1 ) were males. Number of crosses performed and quantity of hybrids obtained are shown in Table 1.
