Trip to Malaysia (page

At last we reached Kuala
Lumpur ("Mud in the river mouth") - the capital of Malaysia.
Unfortunately, we had not time to see the city, we only visited Kuala
Lumpur Butterfly Park. As you can see on the pictures, the park amazingly
landscaped and decorated with small koi ponds, brooks and waterfalls
demonstrated enthralling sight of well simulated part of tropical forests.
This
sanctuary was notably higher and covered bigger area. Butterflies felt more freedom
here and none of them made any attempts to escape. We observed
courtship behaviour of Troides helena. Take a chance to see a short fragment from the film we
taped in the park. Butterflies freely set on visitor like one you see here
did. This is Kallima paralekta sitting on Vladimir
Meshcheryakov's hand.
Kuala-Lumpur
Butterfly Park has also live-insect room, exhibition of
entomological collections and souvenir shop, which are principally
the same as in Penang. After two-hour
excursion in the park we left Kuala-Lumpur to come back to
Penang. >>
